Hello Blogger World,

Sorry about MIA despite promising to post more. Sort have been (still kinda am) in a dark place. I'm having a post-grad crisis. A OMGWTFAIGDWML moment (that in dictionary that stands for, ohmiGod what the f am I gonna do with my life moment). Sad, I know. But I'll get out of it... I hope!

Anyway... so SHOES!!!!!!!!! In an attempt to make myself feel better, I got 3 new pairs. One sexy Tahari Black heels for my graduation, 1 pair of ballet flats, and a pair of loafers (all were cheap, no worries!). I actually didn't take pictures yet. Will do tomorrow, and post them, but I was actually thinking of attempting my first ever DYI. Turning the plain black loafers into spiked loafers (pictured here). I have seen a few DYI, they look pretty neat. What do you guys think (tweet me @alyaa_bradshaw). Hopefully I'll have the guts to get the tools and attempt it soon and show u the results. Shoe Maintenance: Peanut Butter to Get Rid of Stickiness

This video by Wendy of Wendy's lookbook is AWESOME! She always have great tips. Inspired me to start a 'Shoe Maintenance' series, where I'll post all tips I find on how to maintain your shoes for a polished look. If anything, I need these tips more than anybody, I can easily ruin a pair of shoes after only 1 wear! :$

Dreams of Louboutin

While everyone is busy making a list of their new year resolutions, I've decided I would much rather make a list of DEADLINES! It is much better when you have a set date by which you would like to accomplish something. I am still working on the deadlines for school and career related things, but as for the fashion-related goals, I've already set the date for The Big Day. The day I get my first pair of Christian Louboutin. My graduation day! *inshaAllah*

I love the massive diversity of styles of the new Spring 2012 Collection -below- which ranges from simple black classic Louboutin's to very colourful bollywood-inspired ones. I still don't know what specific pair I would like, but it will probably a simple classic as opposed to a new trendy one.
